Keep in mind that this is a direct download from the Questie Git-Repo.
You will have to rename the addon folder as well as place it in the correct place.
Huh? I have no idea what this guy is even talking about. Just go into the QuestieDev-master folder, copy everything, paste it into the AddOns folder and it should work.
Also:
How do you move the QuestieTracker and/or QuestArrow? — Hold down CTRL + Shift + Hold Left Mouse Button + Drag
What hes saying is, you gotta remove “-master.” Otherwise it wont work. Its the same with all addons.
Thanks a lot for the info… u saved the day…
Can it link quests in chat?
This is a feature that isn’t the job of Questie. What you want to look for is Prat or another addon that modifies chat. You might find a version that does this.
Guys I got a problem. Tracked quest are in the middle of my screen and I can not move then anywhere. Can somebody help me with that ?
CTRL+SHIFT+Left Click – Drag to move 🙂
Same applies to the arrow. The FAQ on github is pretty extensive

Does this work if you have EQL3 at the same time?
Is there a way to remove a quest from the on screen tracker without abandoning it in the log. For instance when swapping zones I don’t want to see a bunch of quests in the tracker that I’m not currently working. But I do intend to come back to that zone at a later time to do the quests so I don’t want to abandon them all and have to talk to the NPCs later to get them again.
figured it out. control shift click the quest in the log ez ^^
how do i put the folder in between the blizzard addons files? it wont let me in windows 10
There is a Questie-v3.7.0. It is recomended to use this or later. You need to follow instrucrions to clear cache or wipe it. Old version got zone, arrow and other errors or missing features.
This is the latest version (For legacy). If you iistalled older version that was developed in original with a lot of errors, you don’t need to fix them :), but be sure to clear old cached data first. This addon have changed data format. Rgere iisn’t a readme file. There is a changellog. Readme do exist on gitlab.

Questie works fine on my first toon. If I switch to my 2nd toon (same account) I get a non-stop error message:
“Interface\Addons\!Questie\Modules\QuestieQuest.lua: 1055: attempt to concatenate local `name’ (a nil value)”. Have to disable to Questie for 2nd toon. Any help appreciated. Running version 3.7.0
