Tailoring Leveling Guide 1 – 75

First, visit any trainer in the main cities of old Azeroth –
just ask a guard, and learn Apprentice Tailoring. You can buy “Threads” and “Dye” from the Tailoring supply vendors.

  • 1 – 45
130 x [Bolt of Linen Cloth] – 260 Linen Cloth
  • Stop making these if you reach Tailoring 45, and make more only if you need it.

Levels 75 – 125

Levels 125 – 205

Levels 205 – 300

Learn Tailoring Artisan.

  • 280 – 295
    18 x [Runecloth Gloves] – 90 Bolt of Runecloth

Recipe goes yellow at 290, get enough materials for 18.

Levels 300 – 350

Levels 350 – 425

  • 415 – 425
Make 10 from any of the following:

    [Ebonweave], [Moonshroud], [Spellweave]

  • – 10 Bolt of Imbued Frostweave, 20 Eternal Life, Fire or Shadow

You can also make [Frostweav Bag] instead of these. It will cost you a lot more gold to level with the bags,
    but when you sell
all of them at the Auction House, you will get most of your gold back.
You will need to make more Bolt of
Imbued Frostweave if you level with bags.

Levels 425 – 500

Visit your trainer and learn Tailoring Illustrious.

  • 480 – 484
4 x [Spiritmend Leggings] – 16 Bolt of Embersilk Cloth

It is really important to stop making these at 484!

  • 484 – 494
2 x [Embersilk Bag] – 30 Bolt of Embersilk Cloth, 30 Hypnotic Dust

You will get 5 skill points for each bag. You can also make two [Otherworldly Bag] instead of the Embersilk Bags, but it is usually harder to sell.

Levels 500 – 600

Visit your trainer and learn Zen Tailoring.

  • 550 – 555
1 x [Imperial Silk] – 8 Bolt of Windwool Cloth

You can craft this item if you visit The Silken Fields at the center of Valley of the Four Winds. This is a level 86 zone but you can easily go there at Level 85. The Silken Fields are south-east from Halfhill.

  • 555 – 600
9 x [The recipe you discovered from making Imperial Silk] – 36-54 Bolt of Windwool Cloth

Every recipe that you can discover will grant you 5 skill points, but the number of cloths required to make them is different. If you didn’t discover a Dreadful Gladiator PvP item recipe, but an epic item recipe, you will have to make another Imperial Cloth the next day, or until you discover a pvp item recipe.
