Talents

This is the more experienced build. This build uses Shred and requires good positioning as you have to get behind your target.

This build is slightly less damage but this build uses Mangle instead of Shred so you don’t have to position yourself behind the target. This build is superior in 1v1 situations.

Crowd Control abilities

  • Cyclone  Used to prevent a healer from healing, stops a dps from doing damage. Can be used in a chain with other forms of CC to pretty much lock one person out of the game.
  • Hibernate  can be used to CC hunter pets and druids/shamans.
  • Feral Charge – Bear  is a great stun/interrupt. can be used to stop casts or peel for your partner.
  • Bash Another good stun.
  • Entangling Roots is super versatile and can be used to peel a dps, prevent a healer from getting in position to heal and much more.

Rotation

  • Cast HoTs on your teammates.
  • Cast DoTs on your enemies (when possible)
  • Use Cyclone when possible to disrupt your enemies. Cyclone can be used to prevent healing on a target and secure a kill on a low health target.
  • Stay near pillars to avoid getting burst down out in the open. Fake casting is also a useful skill to learn.

Rotation

  • Maintain Savage Roar use 1 combo point to refresh if you need it.
  • Keep Mangle (Cat) on the target.
  • Keep Rake up on the target as well.
  • Use Shred to generate combo points.
  • Use Rip at 5 combo points.
  • Use Tiger’s Fury when you are below 30 energy. Use this every time it’s off CD.
  • When Clear Casting procs use it for Shred.
  • If you have 5 combo points and Savage Roar and Rip have more than 8 seconds on CD, then Ferocious Bite.
  • Berserk is used when you are at 85 or less energy. Don’t use it when you have very little energy.

  • If Eclipse has just started and your DoTs are down: refresh Insect Swarm for Solar and Moonfire for Lunar.
  • If Eclipse just ended and your DoTs are down: refresh Insect Swarm if you just came out of Lunar, refresh Moonfire if you just came out of Solar.
