ShaguTweaks

The goal of ShaguTweaks is to be non-intrusive to the default
appearance, but also giving the user the choice to change additional
settings if desired. The pre-selected defaults of ShaguTweaks only add
those quality of life changes to the game, that are preserving the look
and feel of the original interface. It’s up to everyones own preferences
to enable more or even disable some more.

All tweaks are made to the default interface and might not take
effect if you already replaced some of the elements with other addons.

All addon settings can be controlled in game via the “Advanced Options” button on the Main Menu (Esc).
Every of the listed features below, can be completely disabled in that menu in case you don’t like it.

Deadly Boss Mods (DBM) – PvP Mods (TBC)

Description:

This mod adds support for PvP battlegrounds and arena to Deadly Boss Mods (DBM).

Features:
  • Helpful warnings and timers for Battlegrounds
  • Fully configurable through DBM-GUI

Requirements:

Requires Deadly Boss Mods

Notes:

This used to be part of the main DBM download but was separated do to frequent request that pvp mods were sort of “forced” in DBM-Core previously and could not be disabled without manual deletion. Now this package is an extra that allows users more control and keeps DBM-Core strictly to the main raid content.

TradeSkillMaster (TBC)

TradeSkillMaster (TSM) is an addon designed to help both casual gold makers as well as experienced goblins streamline their gold-making processes. TSM’s features include everything from improving the native crafting and auctioning experiences to helping you gather needed materials and sniping that low-hanging auction house fruit!

TradeSkillMaster currently offers the following features:

  • The TSM Core window is your new home-base! Here you’ll be able to create your all-important groups and operations, that will help you manage your targeted markets and lead you to success on the auction house. Not a fan of creating your own groups? You can easily import groups from the new and improved import/export tab. Lastly, manage your sales & expense data and track your incoming gold with the Ledger tab.

  • TSM’s Crafting window allows you analyze what crafts will sell profitably and allows you to build a queue, speeding up the crafting process dramatically. It also includes the powerful Gathering function that will help guide you toward easily acquiring any needed materials.

  • Tasklist: The new tasklist feature helps with gathering and cooldown management; automatically alerting you about available craft-able cooldowns or materials needed.

  • The Destroying window helps efficiently mill, prospect, and disenchants items at super speed!

  • TSM’s Mailing window allows you to quickly and easily empty your mailbox as well as automatically send items to other characters with the single click of a button.

  • Vendoring gives you an enhanced interface for buying from a vendor, and selling items from your bags to the vendor.

  • The BankUI helps manage your inventory by allowing you to easily move predefined groups of items between your bags, bank, and guild bank.

March 2, 2021:

The Shadowlands Rares features are now available within TomCat’s Tours!  To enable them, click the black cat icon or type /tomcats in your in-game chat window.  You can then ‘Enable the Beta Features’ from there.

Frequently asked questions:

Q: What does TomCat’s Tours provide?

A: Primarily, TomCat’s Tours marks the locations of rare creatures and what notable loot they drop (mounts, pets, toys).  There are also additional features that show up during some of the bigger WoW holidays, such as currently, Love is in the Air, and Lunar Festival.  For the rares, you can expect to find everything you need for any of special patch content released during BfA starting with Arathi Highlands on forward.  For Shadowlands, you will have to enable the beta features.  See the control panel by clicking the black cat icon on your minimap or by typing /tomcats in the in-game chat window.

Q: Why are there strobing minimap buttons on my map (and how do I stop them from strobing)?

A: The strobe effect will only occur occasionally when there is special information or an event taking place, such as when the Love is in the Air and Lunar Festival holidays were taking place and features were enabled especially for these holidays.  Clicking the icon once when this happens will stop the strobing for that event.

Q: I don’t care about ______ holiday.  How do I hide its minimap icon?

A: Whenever a holiday becomes active, its minimap button will become available.  If you want to hide the button until next year, you can do this in the TomCat’s Tours control panel.  Type /tomcats in your in-game chat window to access these settings or click the black cat icon on your minimap.

Q: How do I access the control panel?

A: type /tomcats in your in-game chat window, or click the black cat icon on your minimap.

Q: How do I use the chat commands (slash commands)?

A: Currently there is only one chat command as it is a shortcut to the addon configuration panel. Type /tomcats in the in-game chat window to get there, or you can go to the game menu, then to interface, click the addons tab, and TomCat’s Tours is listed on the left side.

Q: Why did you do _______ the way you did it instead of ________ ?!?!?!

A: There is a lot of thought that goes into my designs, but there has to be a balance when figuring out what can be provided in X amount of time.  If you see room for improvement, there’s a good chance that I also already see it.   Most meaningful feedback arrives within a day or two of an addon update.  I have to consider how several hundred thousand players may try to use the addons.  I might guess correctly for the vast majority of players, but I won’t understand every player unless I get feedback from those I didn’t guess correctly for.  Sometimes it’s just a matter of having to take a few shortcuts (i.e. using a minimap button instead of a nicer control panel, or using slash commands) so that everyone can at least accomplish what they want to with the addon.  That’s first.  Second is making it so everyone can accomplish what they want HOW they want to do it.  Please remember this when wanting to give feedback or asking for help with the addons.

Q: If I still have questions, what do I do?

A: You can send me a direct message here on Curseforge, join my Discord server, or visit me when I’m streaming live on Twitch.  The main purpose of the live stream is to be able to provide help to players in a more interactive way where I can show you what’s on my screen, but I also play WoW live, discuss other topics, and even develop the addons live… so please do stop by!  All links can be found at:

https://www.tomcatstours.com

The remainder of this page is the original addon description as it has evolved since 2018 and some parts might not be up to date yet.  See the previous Q&A for the latest:

Pawn

Find upgrades, do more damage, win.

Pawn helps you find upgrades for your gear and tell which of two items is better for your spec.  Start with built-in advice from Ask Mr. Robot, or customize Pawn’s stat weights to have it suggest items based on your favorite class guide or simulator.  Pawn can help you decide whether it’s better to use the cloak with 100 mastery or the one with 80 crit—whether you’re just starting out, or you’re an advanced player who plans out gear upgrades and regularly simulates and evaluates performance.

Getting started

If you’re new to Pawn, don’t worry—Pawn will automatically set itself up to give you advice based on math done by the experts at Ask Mr. Robot (or, on Classic, HawsJon).  Just watch for Pawn’s green arrows.  If you decide you want to go further, there are a lot of ways that you can customize Pawn, by tracking multiple specs at once, importing custom stat weights, and more.

Language support

Pawn now works with all languages on both live/retail and Classic.  It’s possible that you might run into stats that Pawn doesn’t recognize from time to time when playing on non-English clients—if you think that Pawn’s not calculating something right, put an item into the Compare tab and see if it lists all of the stats there.  If something’s missing, let me know which item and which language, and I should be able to get it fixed!

Staying in touch

Become a fan of Vger on Facebook and get updates of new versions and stuff like that. You can also leave questions or comments there if you don’t have an account on this site. If you’re a huge nerd you can also find Pawn on GitHub.

Found a bug?

If you think you might have found a bug, just leave a comment here. In addition to a description of the problem, please make sure to include: (1) the language that you use Pawn and WoW in, (2) whether it’s live/retail or Classic, (3) the specific items that don’t work as expected, and (4) your class and spec if you’re using the built-in (not custom) stat weights. Screenshots are usually very helpful as well.

Incompatible with…

Pawn will not work with Titan Panel Artifact Power or Combat Numbers Separator.  Those addons change item tooltips and will cause Pawn to give bad advice.  It’s also been reported that using Pawn with TradeSkillMaster can cause the game to crash or hang.

FarmLog

# FarmLog
World of Warcraft Classic addon that logs loot, monster kills, honor and instances. Know exactly what your farm session has yielded.

### What it is for
You can track your farming session and know how much gold/hour you make. Good for general grinding, instance item farming, rep farm, tradeskill work, honor farm, know how many you killed in a rare BoE farm, etc etc.

### What it does
* Tracks
    * Shows Gold/Hour of active farming session
    * Farm session time with a stopwatch
    * Mob kills, counts how many of each mob was killed
    * Loot from mobs and quests
    * Herbalism, skinning and mining yield
    * Money loot, displays total gold collected
    * Shows loot vendor value in gold
    * Reputation gain per faction
    * XP gained
    * Skill levels
    * Honor gain (not tested yet, will be available in phase 2)
* Allows reporting farm results
* Display farm yield in a window with all looted items
* Allows filtering item poor and common items
* Save multiple farm sessions, you can switch to a different session and continue from where you left off. Read more about Sessions below.

### How to install
* Download, extract (if zipped)
* Make sure folder doesn’t have `-master` surffix
* Copy `FarmLog` folder to your `WoWInterfaceAddOns` folder

### How to use
* `/fl` – toggle logging on/off
* `/fl r` – reset log
* `/fl s` – shows log
* `/fl set <ITEMLINK> <GOLDVALUE>` – sets AH value of an item, in gold

### Sessions
Many times you pause your farming to do something else in game, like doing an instance and afterwards continue to farm herbs. So you want to know how much herb farming yields and how much the instance run has yielded, but these are two different sessions! That’s why you can name sessions and switch between them according to what you’re doing.

Another thing is that the more time & data you have per session, the more accurate gold/hour metric you’re going to see. For example, you can `/fl switch Herbing` when collecting herbs and `/fl switch Fishing` whenever you fish, do that for a week and you’ll get a reasonably accurate gold/hour metric.

![Preview 1](https://github.com/E1ila/FarmLog/blob/master/Preview2.png)
![Preview 2](https://github.com/E1ila/FarmLog/blob/master/Preview.png)
![Preview 3](https://github.com/E1ila/FarmLog/blob/master/Preview3.png)

### Changes
* 1.6
    * REVAMPED USER INTERFACE!
    * Added delete session warning
    * Choosing a session from the UI won’t resume it
    * Added reset window position `/fl rmw` and reset minimap icon `/fl rmi`
    * Fixed exception for new sessions GPH calculation
    * Pauses session when leaving instance, if Auto Switch Instances is enabled
* 1.4
    * New saved variables database format
* 1.3
    * Allowing to rename sessions
* 1.2
    * Auto start session when entering an instance, with current instance name for session name.
* 1.1
    * Sessions! You can now keep multiple session, read about it and how to use it above.
    * Removed “Reset Data” offer when entering an instance or after `/reload`.
* 1.0
    * Initial release.

### To do
* Count instance IDs (total & last hour)
* Allow named sessions, save data per session seperately
* Maybe treat instance name as a session name
* Calculate total AH value for items, set item AH value
* Track quest reward
* Track traded gold (for enchanting, etc)
