Go Go Mount

Description:
One-key mounting solution, useful whether you have just one mount or several. Supports all mounts currently in game, sensibly chooses/randomizes between what you have. Bind a key and hit it to mount/unmount or shapeshift/deshift, or use ‘/click GoGoButton’ in a macro.GoGoMount is an addon for World of Warcraft which uses some smart logic to determine the best mount for you depending on your skill level (epic or non-epic), type of mount (flying or non-flying) and location (are you in an area that allows flying). GoGoMount will then randomize which mount (if you have several mounts that meet the criteria) it summons so you end up with different types (horses, rams, etc.) and different colors. GoGoMount also has limited support for shape forms used by Druids and Shamans. Instant cast allows for shifting shapes while moving for Druids and Shamans (with points invested in the ability). GoGoMount takes this into consideration when determining the best mount to use.

Spell support:
– Supports Shaman and Druid travel forms – in combat as well

Autodismount support:
Dismounts you automagically when clicking on herbs/ores or using offensive spells/abilities. Use ‘/gogo auto’ to toggle this on/off.

Preferred mounts support:
You can assign one or more preferred mounts for each zone. Use ‘/gogo MountLink’ to add pref. Use ‘/gogo clear’ to clear prefs for current zone. Warning: GoGoMount will always use your zone specific preferred mounts even if you have faster ones.

You can also assign one or more preferred mounts globally. Enable the option “Preferred mount changes apply to global setting” and the zone specific preferences and commands are applied to the global preferences.

Excluded mount support:
You can exclude mounts that you never ever want to see. Use ‘/gogo exclude MountLink’ to add a mount to the exclusions list. Use the same command to remove a mount from the exclusions list.

How to use
There are a few different ways to use GoGoMount. GoGoMount allows for key bindings to be set to free up action bar slots or virtual buttons to be used from within macros.

Key Bindings
To set a key binding, you need to access the key binding assignments window built into the game.

Mount / Dismount:¬†Summon any mount from available selection using GoGoMount’s best mount logic.
Mount / Dismount (no flying):¬†Summon ground mounts only from available selection using GoGoMount’s best mount logic.
Mount / Dismount Passenger Mounts:¬†Summon multi-passenger mounts only from available selection using GoGoMount’s best mount logic.

Key Bindings in Macros
Each of the above buttons can be used from within a macro by using “/click BUTTONNAME” in the macro where BUTTONNAME is one of the following:

Mount / Dismount button = GoGoButton
Mount / Dismount (no flying) button = GoGoButton2
Mount / Dismount Passenger Mounts button = GoGoButton3

Options
There are a few options that can be set to change the behavior of GoGoMount when it uses it’s logic for mounting. The options window can be brought up by going to the in-game options, selecting the addons tab at the top and then selecting GoGoMount from the addon list or by typing “/gogo options“.¬†The options window looks like this:

Here’s the list of options and what they do.

Single click to shift from form to travel forms (/gogo druidclickform)

  • This option enables Druids to shift from any shape form into a travel form / mounted form instantly while not in combat. Disabling this option will cause Druids to drop shape form to caster form when pressing the assigned mount button and then into a travel form / mounted form after pressing the mount button a second time.

Enable automatic dismount
(/gogo auto)

  • With this option enabled, GoGoMount will automatically dismount you when you click on a herb / ore to pick / mine and when you open the flight path map to fly somewhere. With this option disabled you will have to manually dismount by using the assigned mount button or by other means before.

Consider 310% and 280% mounts the same speed (/gogo genericfastflyer)

  • There are currently two speeds for epic mounts available (and one speed I’ve seen but is not in game – 300%). GoGoMount’s smart mounting logic will always pick the fastest mount possible for you. In some cases people will get one of the special epic mounts which are only 30% faster. One mount thats faster means GoGoMount will never randomize with the 280% speed increase mounts. Enabling this option tells GoGoMount’s smart mounting logic to consider all epic flying mounts the same speed.

Use shape shift forms (flight forms instead of flying mounts) (/gogo shapeform)

  • This option is used by Druids and Shamans. It enables support for shape forms. For Druids, when GoGoMount’s smart mounting logic picks a flying mount, enabling this option will tell it to use flight forms instead of flying mounts. For Druids and Shamans, when in combat this option will enable support for wolf form and travel form to be used instead of mounts to try to escape. This option will also pick travel form / wolf form if no other mounts are available (either in your bags / mount storage or if you have preferred mounts set that are invalid for your location).

Preferred mount changes apply to global setting

  • This option when disabled causes¬†/gogo [mount link]¬†and¬†/gogo clear¬†commands (which sets preferred mounts – explained later on) to apply to the local zone your character is in. With this option enabled using the listed commands makes changes that effect all zones.

Disable update notices (/gogo updatenotice)

  • GoGoMount will send a line of text on your screen when someone in the same group, raid, battleground or guild has a newer version of GoGoMount. This notice only happens once per session. While it’s not recommended, someone might want to keep using a specific version and my never want to update. In that case, enabling this option will silence the update notices.

Disable unknown mount notices (/gogo mountnotice)

  • GoGoMount has an internal database of known mounts and their properties. If a new mount shows up in your mount area which GoGoMount does not know about it will display a note on your screen indicating an unknown mount was found and to please report it. Unknown mounts are not used by GoGoMount since it doesn’t know how to use them. Enabling this option blocks that notice.

Gup Pet

What is GupPet:
GupPet is an add-on that gives an extension for mounting and calling critters. By a single click it mounts a ground, swimming or fly mount depending on the players location. Because most players have plenty of mounts and companions, and you probably like more than one, the add-on can randomly select mounts/companions depending on the selections in the option menu.

Basic Features:

  • Randomly selects a mount / companion location dependent.
  • Class support for Druids , Shamans and Mages
  • Automatically summons a companion
  • 3d model preview
  • Masque support
  • And many more !

In game usage:
There are 3 types of controls.

  • Action buttons (Adds buttons and are move, hide ,scale and Changeable .)
  • Key Binds
  • Slash Commands

How it works:
GupPet uses a small database to split the mounts that the player currently has learned. The splitting is based on type (ground, swimming or fly) and speed. When using the auto mount function the add-on will always try to select the fastest possible option, but if you can fly in an area the add-on select the flyable over the ground type. If your are swimming the aquatic will be selected above the other two types.

For the critters GupPet uses a small database to detect if a critter uses a type of reagent to call it, for some types you need a snowball. The add-on detects if you have that reagent with you and if not, the add-on won’t select that type of critter.

Commands
The start command is ‘/GP’ or ‘/GupPet’. ( The mounting slash commands don’t support abilities with spells )

Known Issues:
If you or a patch clears your WoW Cache folder, you may experience an invalid list of mounts or a failure to select some mounts for your first login after the cache was cleared. Try logging out and then back in.

Rarity

Rarity tracks how many times you’ve tried to obtain various rare items like mounts, battle pets, and toys. It will tell you how likely you are to obtain the item, track how long you’ve been farming for it, and tell you how lucky you’ve been so far. Although it’s mostly used for mounts, battle pets, and toys, it supports pretty much any item, including profession patterns, archaeology projects, and more.

Looking for Rarity Item Packs? Scroll down.
Out of the box, Rarity includes support for every single mount, battle pet, and toy in the game which require some time to farm.

It also includes support for some mount-related items like:
Skyshard
Alani the Stormborn is a level 92 rare spawn located flying around the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. He has a buff called Nimbus Shroud which makes him immune from being attacked. This buff is removed from an item called Sky Crystal which is created by combining 10x Skyshard.

Alani the Stormborn is infact the MoP version of the TLPD/Aeonaxx. After collecting 10x Skyshards I turned them into 1x Sky Crystal which allowed me to attack and kill Alani. When looted he dropped the Reins of the Thundering Ruby Cloud Serpent. A video of the kill can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLwzUnLKMwo

10 mobs which you can loot skyshards from:
1 –¬†Mogu in northern Vale
2 –¬†Trickster in north west Vale
3 –¬†Trickster in north west Vale
4 –¬†Cow in south Vale
5 –¬†Croc in central lake of Vale
6 –¬†Trickster in south Vale
7 –¬†Trickster in north west Vale
8 –¬†Trickster in north west Vale
9 –¬†Trickster in north west Vale
10 –¬†Trickster in north west Vale

Primal Egg

  • Each Elite has 2-13 million health and drops 1x-45x Bones.
  • Is Unique and only hold one at a time. 100% sure you can’t see another if it drops–others in party can however.
  • The fact that it’s unique and can’t loot more than 1 will greatly skew wowhead drop% listing as ppl continue to farm to reach 9999 Bones with egg in bag

Giant Dinosaur Bone.
Collecting 9999, Completing A Large Pile of Giant Dinosaur Bones awards a mount! Reins of the Bone-White Primal Raptor.

It’ll even notice if you mouseover a¬†Mysterious Camel Figurine, plus lots of other stuff. Rarity factors in the size of a typical group when determining probabilities, and can also tell you if you’ve killed various bosses this week (or day). Holiday just started, and you didn’t notice? Rarity will give you a helpful reminder to run those holiday dungeons or daily quests if you still need an item from them.

If Rarity doesn’t track something you want to track, you can add it yourself! Just about everything is user configurable.

Main features

  • Rarity is primarily an LDB feed with a large tooltip. It can function as either a mini-map icon (you have to turn this on in the options).
  • Provides a progress bar, which you can toggle by clicking the icon or feed label.
  • Adds info to NPC and item tooltips, showing you if it drops or contains something that Rarity tracks. Rare mobs with a guaranteed drop show which item they drop and if you’ve defeated them yet.
  • Includes full source info, telling you how to obtain everything Rarity tracks.

Other features

  • Share packs of items with other users
  • Can automatically add waypoints to TomTom for certain items
  • Uses¬†statistics¬†whenever possible to keep track of attempts
  • Breaks your farming down by session, day, week, and month

Looks at your instance locks to see if you’ve defeated various bosses recently

  • Reminds you if you need to farm a holiday dungeon or daily quest, and hides holiday items that aren’t available right now
  • Supports bonus coin rolls
  • Automatically screenshots when you obtain an item
  • Keeps track of rare achievements like Frostbitten and Glorious
  • You can add your own items to track
  • Lets you modify your attempt count without having to edit saved variables
  • Automatically imports data from Bunny Hunter if you’re switching
