ClassicCastbars
Adds castbars to TargetFrame and nameplates in Classic World of Warcraft 1.13.x.
You may toggle which unitframes you want to see castbars for. See configuration below.
Install
- Install as any other addon, but make sure that the addon folder is called just “ClassicCastbars”, not “ClassicCastbars-master” or “ClassicCastbars-v1.0.0”.
- You can also download from WoWInterface instead of Github here.
Configuration
You may configure this addon using chat commands:
/castbar target enable – Toggles castbar for Target Frame. You might need to retarget an unit for it to update./castbar nameplate enable – Toggles castbar for Nameplates./castbar target pos dynamic – Toggles automatic positioning for Target castbar. Default on./castbar target pos xValue yValue – Set X and Y offset position for Target castbar. Negative X value will move bar left, positive right. Y value is same thing but moves up and down. Using this will automatically disable dynamic positioning. Replace xValue and yValue with your values, for example:Â/castbar target pos 20 -40/castbar nameplate pos xValue yValue – Same as above but for nameplate castbars.

for some reason cant get it to show up in addons folder even after renaming
i got it to show up by taking the folder inside already labeled classiccastbars and putting into my addons folder, skipping the classiccastbars_options folder. dont know if this needs to be inside too

i cant get it to work, the test one shows as normal but doesnt show anything when i try to cast a spell
I have the exact same problem. The test one shows as normal but why is this not showing up for real targets????
I have other addons like ‘OmniCC’, ‘ClassicAuraDurations’, ‘QuestieDev-master’ and ‘RealMobHealth’. Are these conflicting??? But please can you make it to work even with these other addons? I really really like this Castbar addon and can’t use any others..
Just to clarify, even with these other add-ons, the test one shows all normal…
Tried disabling all other add-ons. Still, only test one shows as normal but doesn’t show for real targets.

You will have to pull the ClassicCastBars and ClassicCastBars_options folders out of the zip and place them in your interface/addons folder.
I cannot get this to work. I tried all steps from the comments before me. I am at a loss on what to do.
I’ve also done everything in the comments and cant get this to work. The addon finally appears in my addon list in game, but still does nothing
For people having issues with this addon, download from Curseforge or WoWInterface instead. The uploaded file by this site is incorrect and won’t work.
Doesn’t show castbars for my targets. Just my cast bar which looks the same as before this addon.
