PVE TBC Subtlety Rogue DPS Guide (Short)

Welcome to our PVE Subtlety Rogue DPS guide for WoW TBC. This guide will show you what you need to know to play a Subtlety Rogue in dungeons and raids. This guide covers everything from talents to consumables.

Talents

Combat will do more damage than Subtlety in almost every case. Subtlety is primarily a PVP spec and usually does less damage than the other two specs in almost any PVE situation.

This Build uses Hemorrhage to increase the overall DPS of the raid. The below build requires a sword in both your MH and OH. Your MH sword should be slower, in the 2.5 to 2.8 range, while your OH needs to be fast because of Sword Specialization.

PVE TBC Combat Rogue DPS Guide (Short)

Welcome to our PVE Combat Rogue DPS guide for WoW TBC. This guide will show you what you need to know to play a Combat Rogue in dungeons and raids. This guide covers everything from talents to consumables.

Talents

There are three main builds for Combat Rogues in TBC. These three builds change based on your weapon choices, so as your gear changes you may want to swap your build around.

This first build is designed for someone with a slow main hand sword, in the 2.5 to 2.8 range and a faster sword in their off-hand. Combat Potency and Sword Specialization are a big part of why you want a faster off-hand.

TBC Combat Build – Swords

This build is setup to have a slow first weapon as your MH and a fast sword as your OH.

TBC Combat Build – Fist & Sword

This last build is designed to use a Dagger as your MH and a Sword as your OH. The dagger should have a speed between 1.7 to 1.9. This would be the build that uses backstab as it requires a dagger. Generally speaking the sword build is better though.

PVE TBC Assassination Rogue DPS Guide (Short)

Welcome to our PVE Assassination Rogue DPS guide for WoW TBC. This guide will show you what you need to know to play an Assassination Rogue in dungeons and raids. This guide covers everything from talents to consumables.

Talents

This is the standard Assassination build that most rogues run. It has 41 points in Assassination to get Mutilate which doesn’t leave a lot of room for customization.

The three main skills from the combat tree are Dual Wield Specialization, Precision and Improved Slice and Dice.

TBC Assassination Rogue Talents

Two skills you should swap around would be Improved Poisons and Fleet Footed. If you have Enchant Boots – Cat’s Swiftness then you should be using Improved Poisons. If you instead choose Enchant Boots – Dexterity then you should take Fleet Footed. The movement speed caps out at 8% and does not stack. This makes it best to swap the talents around to maximize your DPS.

Gear

Daggers are your weapon of choice with Mutilate. You are looking for a slow main hand dagger, in the 1.7 to 1.9 speed range. Your offhand should be faster though, this will help your poisions apply more often.
