Recount is a graphical damage meter written by Cryect. Recount (Preservation) is an attempt to preserve it through the 2.4 patch and fix up some minor things along the way. If Cryect returns the project really should be wholely his and he can keep or abandon any changes I’ve made here.
Shows out of date and errors on opening
How have you tested against classic?
Beta is currently out, maybe that’s how he tested it.
I changed the download to point to the live version that should also work with the Classic client.
I just downloaded the addon to prepare for launch and loaded up classic and it does say out of date although since I can’t login, I have no idea if there’s errors or anything.
The window pops up in game but it doesn’t show or record any results it is just a box that says recount & thats it
Recount shows up, interface and all. Can interact with it and everything. Works perfect EXCEPT it doesnt record any results. I don’t show up, nor do party members. No encounters. No fights. No DPS. No data at all. Its a perfectly working recount WITHOUT the data. Just giving ya a heads up! Hopin for a fix soon. Love ya!
I think you need to have ppl with the same addon in party for it to show

after watching sodapoppin his recount works what version is he using ? i dl this recount and it not working at all or being in a group it don’t work i cant even see my dps solo as above poster stated .

It’s still out of date and gives error when loading in. Maybe this is intended? if so, maybe put that in description. Ill never understand why everyone gives bare bones info here on addons. but hey, atleast they are here.

I think it’s a caching issue. Try the download again, you should get a RecountV2.zip. This is the version I’m currently using. Maybe my host was sending out the old version even though I updated it. I changed the filename to be safe.

Oh maybe that. When i download the file, i got “Recount.Zip” You can upload to a drive? Or Mega, idk. Pls :O
If you try the download again it should give you V2 (it’s doing that for me.)
If not try ctrl+f5 on the page, your browser may have a cache’d version.
I can’t use drive because it will only allow less than 500~ downloads per day. I found this out the hard way.

Whats the ETA on the threat plugin for classic? I remember Recount being able to dps and threat meter (but seem to remember threat was a plugin)

I know this exists, I’m not sure if the threat API works, I heard it doesn’t, so everyone may need the plugin for it to work.
Works fine – but how do you make it dissapear when im not in combat? I can only make it dissapear when IN combat…
it does not work with current wow classic!!!
